Kay McNeil with Hobby Girl
I’ve always had cats and fed the neighborhood cats too. Recently, two of the outside cats went missing. I searched high and low including at the Humane Society’s Shelter. Unfortunately, they were never located. While distraught about my loss, I decided I could help one of the cats at the Shelter.
I chose the one who had been there the longest and named her Hobbie Girl. Within days of getting her home her personality began to emerge as she slowly emerged from her cubbyhole. She quickly became part of the family. Now, whenever I enter the room, she plops at my feet and rolls over. Hobbie Girl loves to cuddle with the other cats and likes to snuggle under my chin and lay her head on my shoulder. The love we share is clear for all to see. I don’t know what kind of life she had before but she is happy now, and has a fat belly to boot.
If you need unconditional love from a companion I recommend that you adopt a cat or dog from The Natchez Adams County Humane Society.
