Many local people help to spread the word about adoptable pets by placing photos and a link to the Natchez Pet Adoptions website on their personal Facebook pages and in emails to friends. Through their efforts, many connections have been made resulting in adoptions from NACHS, and we are truly thankful for their help.

One example of this is when loyal NACHS supporter Sandi Geoghegan connected with her school friend from Harahan, LA, Patti Benoit, and let her know about the nice pets available for adoption at NACHS. Patti then made a connection with her friend, Kathy Peralioux from Kenner, LA. Kathy had just moved home to care for her father after his wife died, and Mr. Peralioux appeared to be sinking into depression. Patti found a beagle on the Natchez Pet Adoptions website, information was passed on to Kathy, and Kathy decided that she and her dad needed to drive up from Kenner to meet the sweet little beagle. They adopted her that day and named her Ginger. We understand that Mr. Peralioux has been doing much better since he adopted Ginger and it’s obvious from the pictures that Ginger is also doing very well now. We wish Mr. Peralioux and Ginger all the best, and sincere thanks go to everyone who helped make this match possible.
