This beautiful young adult neutered male chocolate lab mix was surrendered to the shelter after being poisoned. He beat the odds and is now completely well. He is heartworm negative and up to date on all his shots including rabies. He is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door.  Initially, he was very frightened of people but he became more trusting and now willingly goes to his foster parents for treats and petting.   He gets along with and will play with other dogs.   He is unsure of cats.   He is still classified as "special needs" only because he will need to have an adoptive family that understands his past history of abuse and that will be patient and supportive as he transitions into life in his new home.
